THE CALL, by                    
First Line: I love the silent beauty of the dawn
Last Line: And one white voice that calls and calls to me.


I love the silent beauty of the dawn
Revealing the blue sea; with hungry eyes
I watch the ebb and flow of waves that rise
And curve in beauty and too soon are gone.

For the swift splendor of the breaking sea
Is vocal with glad notes, with little cries,
And one white voice that calls and calls to me.
