LEST WE FORGET - 1926, by
First Line: Lest we forget! / the months swing into years
Last Line: Lest we forget!
Subject(s): Holidays; Soldiers' Writings; Veterans Day

LEST we forget!
The months swing into years,
Our souls are caught in trivial things again.
We laugh at what we once beheld with tears.
In petty strife we ease our souls their pain.
Lest we forget!
