MY ROSE, by
First Line: Yesterday, I picked you from
Last Line: Lie sleeping in repose.
Subject(s): Beauty; Flowers; Roses

Yesterday, I picked you from
A bending limb,
Today. you died, my rose, and drooped
From your stem,
Why should I take the life of beauty
Like you, my rose?
Now, I have nothing, and you my rose
Lie sleeping in repose.
