BLINDNESS HAS KINDNESS, by ALPHA SNYDER WODDELL First Line: In life's blindness there is kindness Last Line: To decide e'en our own fate. Subject(s): Kindness | ||||||||
In life's blindness there is kindness -- How much kindness do we know? We should faint of fright and panic Could we see the storms ahead; We should wander, wild and frantic, As leaves, wind-tossed, being dead. When life's scales demand a balance Of a choice between two gifts, Both gifts loved and both held precious -- Do we know which weight to life? No, ah no, we lack the wisdom Demanded of a question great; Strength too frail is ours of human To decide e'en our own fate. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...FOR THE SAKE OF STRANGERS by DORIANNE LAUX A CONSIDERABLE SPECK by ROBERT FROST BUT I DO NOT NEED KINDNESS by GREGORY NUNZIO CORSO |
