THE Far North is a frozen land, Not a trace of tree or sand. Not a flower on the ground ''" Only ice and snow around. The Far North is a frozen place, Of gardens there is not a trace, But, no doubt, children living there. Think their home is good and fair. No doubt they can find their fun, Although there's very little sun. For children always find the way In any kind of land to play. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...WATER LACE AND WHITE EYES by ELEANOR WILNER THE EMPIRE STATE by LUCY BURGMAN HOME by ROWLAND EYLES EGERTON-WARBURTON NORTH WINDOW by HORTENSE KING FLEXNER TO THE NORTH by FANNIE STEARNS DAVIS GIFFORD THE PALMETTO AND THE PINE by MANLEY H.
