When I am dead, See that folks omit The usual roses. I do not care one bit For fern, carnations White and red. But at my feet and at my head -- Bank in profusion great armfuls of Snapdragons tall and sweet. My one love -- these, Burnished copper, yellow White and pink. Towering on their stalk, Hand in hand on journey's end With beauty I shall walk. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...THE FUNERAL SERMON by ANDREW HUDGINS RETURN FROM DELHI by JOSEPHINE JACOBSEN THE SCATTERING OF EVAN JONES'S ASHES by GALWAY KINNELL BROWNING'S FUNERAL by H.
