PRAYERS, by
First Line: I lay me down to rest me
Last Line: And wake me with the morning light
Subject(s): Prayer

I lay me down to rest me,
And pray the Lord to bless me.
If I should sleep no more to wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to keep;
If I should die before I wake,
I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to take.
And this I ask for Jesus' sake. Amen.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to keep;
Thy love go with me all the night,
And wake me with the morning light.
