MUTINY, by GEORGE WILLIAM RUSSELL Poet's Biography First Line: That blazing galleon the sun Alternate Author Name(s): A. E. Subject(s): Soldiers | |||
THAT blazing galleon the sun, This dusky coracle I ride, Both under secret orders sail, And swim upon the selfsame tide. The fleet of stars, my boat of soul, By perilous magic mountains pass, Or lie where no horizons gleam Fainting upon a sea of glass. Come, break the seals and tell us now Upon what enterprise we roam: To storm what city of the gods, Or - sail for the green fields of home! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...ALL ARMIES ARE THE SAME by ERNEST HEMINGWAY ABSENT WITH OFFICIAL LEAVE by RANDALL JARRELL PORT OF EMBARKATION by RANDALL JARRELL THE CONFESSION OF ST.
