A TOAST by MARIE BEATRICE GANNON

First Line: LET US DRINK WITH A WILL TO THE MAIDENS
Last Line: COME: A TOAST AND A DRINK--WITH A WILL!
Subject(s): MOTHERS;

LET us drink with a will to the Maidens,
Who make for us paradise;
Let us drink to the gold of their tresses,
To the blue of their wondering eyes.
And now, when the toasting is ended,
Let us forthwith the goblet refill,
And drink to the Mothers! God bless them!
Come: a toast and a drink--with a will!
