THE CITY-PARK by LOUIS GINSBERG

First Line: A HAVEN IN A STORMY SEA
Last Line: FOAMING ALONG IN ENDLESS TIDE!
Subject(s): SEA; OCEAN;

A haven in a stormy sea,
A sweet oasis and a nook,
It nestles in the noisy streets,
A lyric in a prosy book.

And green and mossy like a stone,
That dozes by the river side,
It never heeds the pour of crowds,
Foaming along in endless tide!
