BROCADE SHAWL by EDYTHE GORDON

First Line: AUTUMN WILL BRING A HUTCH OF GOLD
Last Line: UPON THE GROUND.
Subject(s): AUTUMN; NIGHT; SEASONS; FALL; BEDTIME;

Autumn will bring a hutch of gold
And send a biting chill throughout the air
And then . . .

The night from over the amber hill
Will spread a brocade shawl of frost
Upon the ground.
