First Line: DEAR GOD, IF YOU SHOULD CHANCE TO FIND
Last Line: YOU, TOO, WILL LOVE HER TENDERLY.
Dear God, if You should chance to find
A tiny angel, still quite new,
Would You mind being very kind?
This is her mother asking you.

If You will hold her precious hand
To keep her, Lord, from missing me,
Until she learns to understand
You, too, will love her tenderly.
