AUTUMN by OLIVE HANSON

First Line: OH, SUMMER HAS TURNED A SOPHISTICATE
Last Line: VEIL, IN RESPECT TO YOUR MORALS.
Subject(s): AUTUMN; SEASONS; FALL;

Oh, summer has turned a sophisticate,
Passionate, poised, and lovely;
She comes in her splendid maturity
Flaunting a riot of color.
There's something of lust in her uncontrolled
Flame; lest you think her immodest
She wears her blue haze, like an ingenue's
Veil, in respect to your morals.
