MOOD by MAUDE HAYNES

First Line: YOUNG APRIL CAME TO CALL TODAY
Last Line: AND RAN WITH HER . . . EXULTANTLY.
Subject(s): APRIL;

Young April came to call today
With mischief in her eyes,
Young April, in a joyous mood --
A temptress in disguise!

Oh, April is a gorgeous lass
Dressed up in party gown!
She took my hand and begged for me
To dance around the town.

I knew she was a wayward thing;
What mattered that to me!
I flung my apron on a chair
And ran with her . . . exultantly.
