A TEAR by MARGARET HENDERSON

First Line: A DAISY SHAKES A DROP OF DEW
Last Line: A TEAR FOR YOU.
Subject(s): TEARS;

A daisy shakes a drop of dew
From laden petals.
It pauses down a fragrant hill,
Hangs suspended on a last curve,
Glistens, quivers, drops.
Splashes on a paper face
A tear for you.
