IN PASSING by WILLIAM BRIAN HOOKER

First Line: WHEN ALL THE WORLD WAS GRAY
Last Line: WHEN ALL THE WORLD WAS GRAY.

When all the world was gray,
And all the airs were chill,
And Summer worlds away,
And senses out of tune --
You touched me with a thrill
Of momentary June,
When all the world was gray.
