A KISS by M. ELLEN HOWELL

First Line: WHAT IS A KISS? A MYSTERY TRUE
Last Line: IT IS GOD AND HEAVEN AND HOME—IN YOU.
Subject(s): HEARTS; HEAVEN; KISSES; LOVE; MAN-WOMAN RELATIONSHIPS; PARADISE; MALE-FEMALE RELATIONS;

What is a kiss? A mystery true.
Listen, as I reveal it to you:
Hush of the evening, nature in tune,
Birds softly crooning, radiant moon;
Hearts quickly beating, cheeks all aglow,
Fingers entwining, sweet voices low;
Dainty lips parted, lifted to press
Those trembling nearer in love's caress;
Fond angels watching, smiling above
Down through the moonbeams, Heaven's pure love;
Garden of Eden, infinite plan,
Chief of Creation—Woman and Man.
What is a kiss? I am telling you true:
It is God and Heaven and Home—in You.
