CAT-TAILS by KEN HUGHES

First Line: THEY STAND IN OPAQUE DARK
Last Line: AS ONYX WATERS CARESS THEIR FEET.
Subject(s): ANIMALS; CATS; HEADS;

They stand in opaque dark,
A star-studded sky showers
Them with exquisite light.
With lifted heads they nod
Swaying to each singing wind
As onyx waters caress their feet.
