YOUR EYES by KEN HUGHES

First Line: TWO TEMPLES OF BEAUTY ARE
Last Line: LURK IN THOSE POOLS—YOUR EYES.
Subject(s): EYES; GRIEF; SOUL; TEARS; SORROW; SADNESS;

Two temples of beauty are
In your eyes,
That I cannot enter or realize.
Could I but understand what
Peace and balm of soul
Is there;
Or visions of new loves and unshed tears
Lurk in those pools—your eyes.
