A WISH by JAMES HERVEY HYSLOP

First Line: MAY MANY HAPPY MOMENTS COME AND GO
Last Line: THAT BREAKS UPON MY SOUL WITH NO ALLOY.
Subject(s): HAPPINESS; HEARTS; WISHES; JOY; DELIGHT;

MAY many happy moments come and go
And keep your heart from all its woe:
For I can hardly leash my throbbing joy,
That breaks upon my soul with no alloy.
