ABSENT FRIENDS by IBN HAZM

First Line: IF NOW, AS IS TOO TRUE
Last Line: THAT HE MIGHT SEE THE LORD.
If now, as is too true,
My body's far away
My heart abides with you
For ever and a day.

But he alone knows bliss
Who looks on his adored,
And Moses prayed for this
That he might see the Lord.
