DAWN SONG by IBN SA'ID OF ALCALA LA REAL

First Line: PASS THE WINECUP; IN THE EAST
Last Line: UNTO DAWN'S COLLYRIUM'D GAZE.

Pass the winecup; in the east
Heaven holds a wedding-feast,
But your beauty satisfies,
Lovely boy, our greedy eyes.

Lightning's henna'd fingers hurl
Down the sky their drops of pearl;
Heaven's bride her charms displays
Unto dawn's collyrium'd gaze.
