CAROUSAL by IBN SAFAR

First Line: THE DRINKERS SPRAWL BY NIGHT
Last Line: THE SUN'S GLITTERING RAYS.

The drinkers sprawl by night
Beneath the schooner's sail,
Their cup a maiden's bright
Cheek behind a veil.

Fain would the ship conceal
Their secret, but betrays...
As scudding clouds reveal
The sun's glittering rays.
