A QUATRAIN TO MY MOTHER by ADELINE M. JENNEY

First Line: AS BEAUTIFUL, STILL TREES ARCH AND DRAW CLOSE
Last Line: AND FRAMED ITS VASTNESS FOR MY LITTLE THOUGHT.
Subject(s): LOVE; MOTHERS;

As beautiful, still trees arch and draw close
The sky's wide blue, my mother's arms have brought
Within their circling clasp God's boundless love
And framed its vastness for my little thought.
