PRAYERS by BURGES JOHNSON

First Line: WHEN IT IS BEDTIME, EVERY DAY
Last Line: THERE IS SO LITTLE THAT THEY NEED.
Subject(s): CHILDREN; DOLLS; PLAY; TOYS; CHILDHOOD;

When it is bedtime, every day,
I show my children how to pray;
I never scold or even frown
Whenever any tumble down,
But I am patient as can be
And make them copy after me.
Their prayers are very short indeed—
There is so little that they need.
