RUNNING AWAY FROM HOME by BURGES JOHNSON

First Line: I WAS SO CERTAIN YESTERDAY
Last Line: I'LL HURRY HOME TO MOTHER NOW.
Subject(s): CHILDREN; ESCAPES; FEAR; SOLITUDE; CHILDHOOD; FUGITIVES; LONELINESS;

I was so certain yesterday
It would be fun to run away;
It never once occurred to me
How dreadful lonesome it would be.
And if this really is a cow
I'll hurry home to mother now.
