THE FOUNTAIN by JEAN KAMPSCHROEDER

First Line: SPARKLE IN THE SUNLIGHT, FOUNTAIN
Last Line: WAITING FOR THE COMING DAY.
Subject(s): FOUNTAINS;

Sparkle in the sunlight, fountain
Rippling forth your jewelled flood
Dashing outward multi-colored
Festive in a noontime mood.

Stately in the moonlight, fountain
Pour your molten silver way
Coldly, calmly as a priestess
Waiting for the coming day.
