LONELINESS by HARRY HIBBARD KEMP

First Line: IN MY BREAST A LONELY HEART
Last Line: ALL OF GOD'S CREATIONS ARE.
Subject(s): GOD; SOLITUDE; LONELINESS;

IN my breast a lonely heart
Echoes like a drum of doom,
And one feeble, dim-lit lamp
Glimmers in this gloomy room;
In the topmost of the sky
Shines a solitary star—
O, how separate and lone
All of God's creations are.
