In from the blue a galaxy of sound Again; live smells; and beauty everywhere A bold elixir now pervades the air; And underneath me stirs the soft warm ground. Lamb answering dam begins a hillside round, While birds the code of wood and field declare. Odd motor-bugs crawl by, far off, down there, An endless stream of humans pleasure bound. Vying in scope with landscape, sea and sky, New styles pass on in marvelous array. This is a time when man to purpose makes reply Each is a king or clown in his own way A time when worlds are made, or life hopes die.
