SPRING by ROBERT LOVEMAN

First Line: A WHISPER ON THE HEATH I HEAR
Last Line: IS IN HER BLUSHING MAIDENHOOD.
Subject(s): SPRING;

A WHISPER on the heath I hear,
And blossoms deck the waking wood;
Ah! surely now the virgin year
Is in her blushing maidenhood.
