UNTO a tomb more splendid than was thine,
O gentle poet of rare mind and art divine,
There was no need transfer thy sacred dust;
Nor need to rear for thee the marble bust!
Increased renown to seek for thee were vain,
For lo, thy tomb is Portugal and Spain!
