QUANTRAINS: THE INNER WORSHIP by FREDERIC ROWLAND MARVIN

First Line: BY TOO MUCH INCENSE THE IDOL IS OBSCURED
Last Line: THE HEART OUTWEIGHS ALL HOLY WORD AND RITE.
Subject(s): IDOLS; WORSHIP;

By too much incense the idol is obscured,—
The pomp of worship blinds our feeble sight;
The heavenly vision waits not our command,—
The heart outweighs all holy word and rite.
