QUIET POWER by FREDERIC ROWLAND MARVIN

First Line: SERENE AND STILL, / THY MIGHTY WILL
Last Line: WHO TAKES HIS TIME.
Subject(s): SERENITY;

SERENE and still,
The mighty will
Of God prevails
Where striving fails.
They win the day,
Who learn the way
Of quiet power,
And bide their hour.
No work is wrought
By anxious thought.
Our foolish haste
Makes greater waste.
Life's golden prize
Before him lies,
Who takes his time.
