THE GOLDEN HOUR by FREDERIC ROWLAND MARVIN

First Line: FOR EVERY BLADE OF GRASS
Last Line: A SWEETER LIFE SHALL GIVE.
Subject(s): MEMORY; TIME;

FOR every blade of grass,
Remains a drop of dew;
For every opening bud,
Some flower's bright hue.

To every man there comes
An hour of glad surprise;
A ray of golden light
From out the deep blue skies.

Expect that hour and hope,
Enjoy that hour and live;
Its memory when it dies,
A sweeter life shall give.
