TRAGEDIES: 10 by THEOPHILE JULIUS HENRY MARZIALS

First Line: THE RIVER'S MOUTH IS WEARY WIDE
Last Line: AND MINGLED AND MELTED OVER THE SEA.
Subject(s): DREAMS; LOVE; MOON; RIVERS; NIGHTMARES;

The river's mouth is weary wide,
The banks are low as sight can see;
Alone and sad, and side by side,
We drifted on so tranquilly.

The white moonlight fell in a stream;
It silver'd her, it silver'd me:
Our thoughts wreathed out in a long love-dream,
And mingled and melted over the sea.
