Dream not of a new heaven, lad,
Dream not of a new earth;
Not without blood and tears, lad,
Are new worlds brought to birth.

Do not be a Dreamer, lad,
Dreamers suffer losses;
So put away thy dreams, lad,
Dreamers die on Crosses.
