OF DON JUAN by GLADYS MCKEE

First Line: I REMEMBER DON JUAN
Last Line: NOTHING BUT HIS SILVER SPURS.

I remember Don Juan,
Riding swiftly in the dawn,
Not his promise, nor his vow,
Bind him to my memory now,
Nothing that he gave or took,
Not his manner, or his look!
Don Juan! The thought incurs
Nothing but his silver spurs.
