GALLANT LADY by MAY MCKEE

First Line: SHE WALKS WITH LIFE
Last Line: GLAD EYES, A SUNNY SYMPATHY.
Subject(s): LIFE;

She walks with Life—
A gallant smile upon her lips.
And if her heart is seeped in woe—
They do not know.

She laughs at Life—
A gallant song within her soul.
And if she stumbles on her way—
They cannot say.

They only see
A gallant smile, serenity,
Glad eyes, a sunny sympathy.
