A TEMPLE by MNASALCAS

First Line: UPON THE LOW BRINE-SPRINKLED SHORE STAND WE
Last Line: THE KINGFISHER DRAWS WATER WITH HIS BILL.

UPON the low brine-sprinkled shore stand we,
Beside the shrine of Cypris of the sea,
And poplar-shaded spring, whence, piping shrill,
The kingfisher draws water with his bill.
