THE DEAD FOWLER by MNASALCAS

First Line: HERE TOO THE BIRDS, GOD'S CHILDREN, THAT LIGHTLY COME AND GO
Last Line: WITH REED AND LIME HE'LL NEVER COME AGAIN.
Subject(s): BIRDS;

HERE too the birds, god's children, that lightly come and go
Shall find sweet haven, perch'd upon the plane.
Dead is the man of Melos, Poemander their old foe;
With reed and lime he'll never come again.
