GOOD MORNING, SPRING by MARY MORRISON

First Line: EARTH YAWNED / REALLY
Last Line: THERE ARE TULIPS TO BE BUBBLED!
Subject(s): WAKING;

Earth yawned
Really
A very ill-mannered yawn.
Stretched
Quite
An exaggerated stretch.
Frowned
Into a mirror.
Horrors
Such baggy clouds under my skies!
And so drab
My hair
Must need green rinse ... tonic.
O confound
These kinks in my trees.
A bit of limbering up for me.
But now
Ah yes.
My pipe, please.
There are tulips to be bubbled!
