AN APRIL DAY by ANNE MURRY MOVIUS

First Line: WEIGHTED WITH UNBORN LOVELINESS
Last Line: THE SECRETS OF UNFOLDING.
Subject(s): APRIL;

Weighted with unborn loveliness
The brown earth lay,
Gathering to its breast
An April day.

Magic stirred the winds
Lingering by,
A flash of wings
And a red-bird cry.

Whisperings on field and hill
And coral buds were holding
The hints of fragrance and
The secrets of unfolding.
