GARDEN DREAMS by ANNE MURRY MOVIUS

First Line: MOONLIGHT RESTS WHITE FINGERS
Last Line: LONG HIDDEN FROM OUR SIGHT.
Subject(s): WINTER;

Moonlight rests white fingers
On my garden's breast,
The wind says -- "Hush 'tis sleeping,
Quiet is its rest."

But O, I know, beneath the snow,
Like soaring wings its dreams alight,
Waking every flowering grace
Long hidden from our sight.
