PLUNDER by ANNE MURRY MOVIUS

First Line: NIGHT RAN AWAY AND CARRIED ALONG
Last Line: EVEN THE GHOST OF THE WATERFALL FLED.

Night ran away and carried along
Stars and moon and a bird song.

Fragrance and dew and plumes of trees,
Night could not carry any of these.

And Dawn's sleepy eye opened to find
A gown of mist trailing behind.

But when Morning crept in from her bed,
Even the ghost of the waterfall fled.
