AN APRIL SEQUENCE: 4. APRIL FLAME by EDWARD JOSEPH HARRINGTON O'BRIEN

First Line: WIND OF THE FOAMING AIR
Last Line: WHITE WISDOM NOW!
Subject(s): APRIL; FLOWERS; HEARTS; LOVE; SPRING;

Wind of the foaming air,
Ripple over my heart,
With April flame bend low,
Of mine a part.

Flower of the western sky,
Blow in my flesh,
With April laughter mine,
Caught in my mesh.

Stars of the budding night,
Shine on my brow:
Make of these smouldering fires
White wisdom now!
