CHASING A RAINBOW OF DREAMS by MABEL ETHLEEN PALMER

First Line: A PILOT AM I / ROAMING THE SKY
Last Line: AT THE END OF MY RAINBOW OF DREAMS.
Subject(s): DREAMS; HAPPINESS; NIGHTMARES; JOY; DELIGHT;

A pilot am I
Roaming the sky,
Chasing a rainbow of dreams;
Greeting the dawn,
Sailing right on,
Chasing a rainbow of dreams;
Like a bird on the wing
Flying, I sing,
While chasing a rainbow of dreams.

I'm so happy up here in the clouds
Far from the work-a-day crowds,
Chasing a rainbow of dreams,
A beautiful rainbow of dreams.
Never was there castle more fair
Than this one I'm planning in cloudland somewhere
At the end of my rainbow of dreams.
