POSTSCRIPT by EDWIN FORD PIPER

First Line: I AM A MAKER OF SONGS
Last Line: I AM A LOVER OF SONGS.

I am a maker of songs --

@3Sweetgrass@1, and @3Old Man Winter@1,
And @3Burly Horns@1.

Let the songs loose,
Let them go, let them flow
Into souls . . .
I am a maker of songs.

I am a singer of songs
And a gatherer
Of cripples far-wandering,
And lost tunes,
And waif and stray:

@3Hang down your Head and Cry,
Lonsesome Dove, and Lowlands Low,
Bosom Friend, Rosario,
Hangman O, Hangman O,
Storm Along, Old Stormy.@1

I am a lover of songs.
