TWO HUSSIES by GRACE BROWN PUTNAM

First Line: THE LADY-MOON'S A HUSSY
Last Line: WHEN THEY WERE TURNED ON ME.
Subject(s): HEARTS; LOVE; RELATIONSHIPS;

The lady-moon's a hussy,
I loathe her yellow face;
She spies on all true lovers,
Begrudging each embrace;
She stood one night on eastern hill
In reddening rage to see
My lover's eyes, that only shone
When they were turned on me.
