BERKELEY HILL by NAOMI REYNOLDS

First Line: OH, YOU HAVE TALKED TO MILLIONS
Last Line: ACROSS THE HEMLOCK TREES?

Oh, you have talked to millions,
And swayed them, at your will,
But have you climbed at twilight
To the top of Berkeley Hill?

Oh, you may be the mayor,
And flatter whom you please,
But have you raced the red sun
Across the hemlock trees?
