HELL'S BELLS by NAOMI REYNOLDS

First Line: WE CANNOT GROW DULL AND OLD
Last Line: BUT ONE OF US DIED THIS MORNING.
Subject(s): AGING;

"We cannot grow dull and old,
Saying, 'Oh, my!' where now we say, 'Hell's bells!'
Weeding petunias instead of picking goldenrod."
That was what we said last night,
But one of us died this morning.
